## Overview

Comfama is a family compensation fund located in the department of Antioquia. With over 70 years of providing services to the people of Antioquia, its mission as an organization is to **support the new forms of work that facilitate the consolidation of the middle class in today’s economic and demographic context.**

Proantioquia is an institution that promotes the sustainable development of Antioquia, **working collaboratively with business, public, social, and academic sectors** and partners to build future scenarios for the expected evolution of education and culture in the Department of Antioquia.

### The challenge

How can we understand and promote the music industry in Antioquia by consolidating a platform or collaborative working model among various stakeholders, called "Mesa de la Música"?

THE SOLUTION

 

**Facilitate meeting points and joint work to diversify opportunities and strengthen the regional music ecosystem.**

**Proposed Methodology:  
**Co-creation workshops, ethnographic interviews, and thematic focus groups were conducted to identify needs, establish strategic agreements, and define clear actions. Innovation exercises facilitated the integration of perspectives to structure a comprehensive work plan.

**Key Insight/Learning:**  
The regional music industry lacks diversity and training in key areas such as marketing and management, which hinders its sustainability and growth. Opportunities remain concentrated in specific groups and styles.

**Impact/Results:**  
The "Mesa de la Música" has become a collaborative and inclusive space that brings together national experts to build a more diverse, structured, and sustainable music industry, strengthening the cultural ecosystem in Antioquia.
